10 promo winners get celebrity treatment from Watsons

July 9, 2005 Watsons, Your Personal Store, presented to the public the lucky winners of its “Beauty & Brent” (B&B) promo. From the thousands of entries sent from April to June 2005, ten winners were selected. The interesting mix of winners come from different parts of the country representing various sectors. There are students, a doctor, a 54-year-old mother of 8 kids, an admin assistant, a nurse, a finance manager, and a call center representative who is also the only male winner.

The winners were randomly picked in the presence of a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative and were recently presented to the public through a grand unveil. They are: Dominic Lucien Tiojanco of Brookside Hills Subd.; Joy Bocaoco of Pigcawayan, Cotabato; Helen Baysa of Davao City; Ma. Lourdes Basa of Quezon City; Marites Mabitado of Binondo, Manila; Geraldine Cirera of Muntinlupa; Estela Tiongson of San Fernando, Pampanga; Arianne Garcia of Tondo, Manila; Armie Joan Vicente of San Pedro, Laguna and Ma. Aleta Co of Calbayog City.

Bobby Saneo, Watsons activation marketing manager says, “We couldn’t have asked for a more interesting batch of winners and I am just so happy to see their transformation to a better version of themselves with the kind of pampering that Watsons and our partners gave.” Although only nine could attend the grand unveil, all ten winners individually got a P100,000 makeover package which includes hair treatment & styling, 2 sets of new wardrobe, make-up, hotel accommodations plus other gifts from Watsons’ partners.

Out of all the finalists, Watsons endorser, Brent Javier chose one whom he will date. He decided to pick the one whom he thinks has the most interesting personality and that is 27 year-old finance manager, Marites Mabitado.

After the presentation party, all the lucky winners were overjoyed with their total makeover experience. The prizes, interviews, photo shoots, the fashion show, the special attention and the red-carpet treatment they got from Watsons made them feel like real celebrities.
