The straight metrosexual male proudly partakes in activities that used to be derogatorily applied to homosexuals, and is said to be completely in touch with his feminine side. Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Justin Timberlake are just a few examples. Soccer icon, David Beckham, for example, has been known to paint his fingernails.
In fact, more than being in touch, the metrosexual is not afraid toe mebrace his feminine side.
The etymology of the word is fairly straightforward. "Metro" signifies the metropolitan, urban lifestyle, while the latter part indicates a heightened aesthetic sense, confident and at peace with his sexuality, and not constrained by society's imposed limitations.
Check out some of our top models (Corey Wills, Ryan Villareal, Francis Ricafort, Michael Seifert, Tim Yap and Brent Javier) and what they have to say. Then find out if you are a metrosexual because if you aren't, it's off to retrosexual country for you.

Do people mistake you for being gay?
"Yeah. It gets annoying but I've realized it happens when I am here. If they have nothing else to say about you, they'll just make up something. I guess it's part of being, sort of a celebrity. I don't think I am (a celebrity) but I guess some people consider me as one. I guess it's part of the game. I like women only."

Not that anyone would really care what i think but i really think that there is really nothing wrong if you are gay and be a macho model but the truth should prevail and if i may give an unsolicited advice Brent, you know who you really are so don't get affected..I can see a lot of potential in you...One word one act can change what people think of you.and you have all the time..especially now that the spotlights on you..You are actually younger than I am so I feel like I am an ate to you..I had a brother who was your age..This world sets standards for everything when we should not..i know some things for sure..Death,taxes,insecurities(everybody has them),one true love and family...i guess among them all i just wanna wish you will be most successful in the final two.I hope when you visit another country for a photo shoot or whatever think of a girl like me who wishes she could have that chance to have that opportunity to travel and see the world.
